Created by combining wines from select Beringer vineyards, the private reserve is an expression of the best that Napa Valley has to offer. Consisting mostly of Cabernet Sauvignon with just a splash of Cabernet Franc, this elegant wine has a dark, velvet body and a nose of blackberries and dark chocolate. Layered and complex, its initial flavors of black cherries, vanilla and oak give way to earthy hints of cocoa and tobacco. The long finish on this wine is legendary.
