Owned by the Richards family, Paloma, west of St. Helena at the top of Spring Mountain, Paloma produces some of the greatest Merlots in Napa. The 2003 has a deep ruby purple-tinged color and notes of plum, cherry and caramel on the nose. This lush, medium-bodied wine offers abundant dark berry flavors along with chocolate and hints of oak before a nice round finish. Elegant and complex, this bottle is ready to be enjoyed now.
