Simposio 88 Vino Nobile Trerose 750 ml
Tenuta Trerose is located in a 16th century villa at the top of a hill in Montepulciano, surrounded by vineyards. Situated at the heart of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano area, Trerose is 420 acres in size, of which 136 acres are planted to grapes for the production of Vino Nobile, the rest planted to other varietals. Simposio is not produced every year, but only in the best vintages. The ripest grapes from the finest vineyards of the estate are chosen, and the wine is aged for at least two years in new casks of four different types of wood. After this period, the wine is tasted by the estate's experts to decide if it will make the final blend. The finished wine ages in bottle for at least nine months prior to release. Made of 100% Sangiovese, Simposio is an intense garnet red color with complex aromas of blackberry, cherry and tobacco that are surrounded by elegant toasted oak notes. The wine is full-bodied with round and velvety tannins and a long, remarkable finish.
