Cillar De Silos 04 Altos De Revil 750 ml
Nestled in the Ribera del Duero, the Cillar de Silos vineyards comprise 120 acres of Tempranillo planted on slopes with great exposure. The estate makes a somewhat modern-style wine but with traditional methods and skills. This is a single-vineyard selection from 60-year-old vines. Barrel fermented and aged in new French oak for 12-18 months, it has a complex nose with aromas of cocoa and coffee, toasty vanillin oak and dark berries. The palate is an elegant echo of these flavors with a long satisfying finish. (Aslo WA 91pts)
