A small but long-established Port shipper, Gould Campbell dates from 1797; it was acquired by the Symington family in 1970. Gould Campbell Ports are very full-bodied and rich in style. The 2000 is typical, with an excellent backbone of tannins balanced by massive ripe fruit flavors; tight and concentrated, it is a very serious wine.
