The Monte Tondo vineyard can be found nestling in the gentle hills of Soave just a few miles from Verona, on a slope overlooking the valley; here Gino Magnabosco, together with his family, carries on the winemaking traditions that have been handed down in his family for three generations. Their Recioto is made from 100% Garganega, hand-picked and left to semi-dry in special dry and well ventilated rooms for four months, then aged, after fermentation, in small oak barrels for 18 months. The wine has lively golden highlights and a pleasant fruity bouquet laced with vanilla; sweet and harmonious on the palate, it is a lovely accompaniment to fresh cheeses or cream desserts.
