The El Dorado range of rums is distilled, blended and bottled by Demerara Distillers Limited, located on the east bank of the county of Demerara in Guyana, known for its history of 300+ years of sugar and rum production. With a deep amber color, this 12-year-old is a medium-bodied rum distilled from molasses. The nose suggests sweet and smoky honey and spice. The flavor is generously sweet with deep caramel and spicy notes and a long warm finish that is remarkably smooth.
