Jefferson's Presidential is a stock of bourbon from Stitzel-Weller, a Kentucky distillery that has been closed since 1992. Aged at least seventeen years, this is a wheated bourbon, meaning that wheat is used as the secondary grain instead of rye. Fruity aromas of berries and nuts are joined on the palate by complex notes of caramel and vanilla that fade slowly into a rich and balanced finish. Needless to say, quantities are limited.
