The Mariotto Vho Barbera takes its cue from Burgundy, having been aged twelve months in small wood barrels before an additional refinement of one year in bottle. Its nose is rich and concentrated, redolent of red and black berries, mint, vanilla, coffee and spice. Bright acidity and noticeable tannins make this an excellent food wine. Try pairing with meat sauces, braises and stews.
