Chasing Lions is a rich, approachable blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Petit Verdot from Napa that offers a lot of soft, supple fruit at a reasonable price. Aged eighteen months in French and American oak, it has a nose that offers generous aromas of black cherry, espresso, cedar and spice. It is velvety soft on the mouth, with dark fruit flavors that are supported by nice acidity and moderate tannins. Ready to pop and pour at casual dinners and parties.
