Established in 1933, Cantina Negrar is a cooperative, previously called Cantina Sociale Valpolicella, created by seven producers who wanted to defend and protect the character and quality of Veronese wines. From the acclamined 2004 vintage, this Amarone is intensely colored, powerful and bold. The bouquet is full of aromatic black fruit, fresh and dried. The palate is rich with cherry, prune and sweet spice with some floral undertones. This full-bodied classic Amarone is totally satisfying; enjoy it with roasted or grilled meat, hearty pastas or flavorful cheeses.
