The Edgebaston wines are made by David Finlayson (the current generation) on the Finlayson family vineyards in Stellenbosch. The range of wines is made to reflect the personality and winemaking philosophy of the region and the Finlayson family. "The Pepper Pot" is a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Tannat, all grapes grown in the Stellenbosch region, created to show the fresh, fruity and spice driven flavors of these Rhone varietals; it's pure, clean dark red berry flavors flow onto a smooth palate with sufficient structure to warrant enjoyment with food such as carpaccio and arugala salad.
