Cheveau 09 Beaujolais "Or Rouge"
Domaine Michel Cheveau was created in the 1950s by André Cheveau and is now run by his son, Michel, and his grandson, Nicolas. A total of 33 acres of vineyards are owned and cultivated by the family with the holdings spread out over a variety of villages and terroirs. The vineyards are worked without fertilizers and the harvest is done manually. Their Or Beaujolais Villages is a excellent value for the price. It offers fresh red fruit backed by soft, structured tannins and focused acidity. Light-to-medium bodied, it should pair well with tuna, salmon, poultry or pork.
