Castel Sallegg 10 Pinot Grigio
The vineyards of Castel Sallegg are located on the western shores of Lake Caldaro, in the German-speaking region of Alto Adige, and in the town of Caldaro; the castle itself (and the surrounding vineyard) was bought in 1851 by Archduke Rainer of Austria, then later inherited by the Counts von Kuenburg, and today Count Georg von Kuenburg, together with enologist Matthias Hauser, ensures that quality and tradition continue to be maintained. Sourced from choice vineyard sites in the region and incorporating several different clones of the varietal, this is a Pinot Grigio with a crisp, tangy, zesty palate.
