The Calchetas Navarra is a blend of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Malbec, aged for 19 months in French oak. It is deep ruby in color and full of mineral, earth, and spice flavors and aromas. Ripe black fruit flavors contribute to an overall elegance on the palate. This wine is drinking well now but could age for ten more years or so in the cellar.
