Dating from 1896, Lustau was originally an Almacenista, a modest estate with small holdings that sold most of its wine to large exporting bodegas. It was not until the 1950s that Lustau became Emilio Lustau SA and joined the ranks of a select group of exporters of Sherry. This dry oloroso, aged in American oak for twelve years, is rich and concentrated, classically dry with hints of sweetness; it offers a perfumed blend of toffee, cinnamon and salted almonds and a firm texture moderated by a gentle caramel note.
