Your Description: The house motto says it all: "A Passion for the Authentic." It was founded in 1835 by Manuel Gonzalez Angel who, some years later, partnered with his British agent, Robert Blake Byass; the Byass family withdrew from the business in 1998 but the firm is still run by Gonzalez' direct descendants. Tío Pepe (named after the uncle of one of the founders of Gonzales Byass) is the best-selling sherry brand in the world, best known for its fino style made from the Palomino grape. It is bone dry with a pleasant salinity. "En Rama" means that this Sherry is unblended and unfiltered to enhance its individuality.
