1792 Small Batch Bourbon is a higher-end bourbon from Barton, itself one of a number of bourbon brands owned by Sazerac. The name refers to the year Kentucky gained statehood. It is produced in six different “limited edition” expressions, one of which is this Single Barrel Bourbon. To create this unique version the finest barrels were selected and tasted from the best aging warehouses and only those deemed exceptional were then bottled individually to preserve the distinct character of each barrel. This bottling has flavors of rich butterscotch and caramel notes, delicately balanced with ints of fruit and coffee.
