Perhaps the ideal introduction to Scotch, the Aberlour 12-year is amber gold with ruby highlights with a good sherried body with fruity aromas. On the nose there are very soft and rounded fruity notes (red apple); it has a warming, powerful finish with some smoky notes and a gentle pepperiness.
