Located in Finale Emilia, a small rown on the outskirts of Modena, Casoni is one of Italy's oldest distilleries and liqueur producers, having been founded by Giovanni Casoni in 1814. Over the decades the company shifted ownership several times, but in 2016 Paolo Casoni, together with a group of entrepreneurs, bought back the renowned family distillery. As the name suggests, this unique aperitif is based on a historic family recipe that dates from the early 19th century. An elegant blend of infusions of orange peels and aromatic plants, it is fresh, pleasant and thirst-quenching, with a perfect balance between sweetness and botanical complexity.
