Located in Dumgoyne, just north of Glasgow, quite near Loch Lomond, the Glengoyne Distillery has been in continuous operation since its founding in in 1833. It is unique in producing Highland single malt whisky matured in the Lowlands. Made with a process so slow it is known as Scotland’s slowest distillation, this 12-year-old unpeated single malt is matured for 12 years in hand-selected sherry casks. Complex yet approachable, it is well balanced but favors sweetness and fruit with not a hint of smoke.
