New York-based Vias Imports, which boasts a portfolio of more than 90 wineries, was founded in 1983. One of the three co-founders of the company, Fabrizio Pedrolli, remains chairman of the company, and it is Pedrolli who is the guiding spirit behind the Acinum brand. Acinum is a proprietary line established through Vias producing wines from northeastern Italy specifically to benefit the Vias portfolio: there is a Soave, a Valpolicella, a Ripasso, an Amarone, and this Prosecco. 100% Glera from the Treviso region, the Prosecco is smooth, crisp, and elegant, with a fruity bouquet of green apples and pink grapefruit and a long fresh finish.
