Founded in 1852, Almaden is California’s oldest commercial winery. Originally located and established in Almaden Valley, San Jose, the winery has since moved to the San Joaquín Valley, primarily based in Escalon and Madera, where they now produce a wide range of bottled and boxed wines. This is their Cabernet in a 5-liter box; a satisfying dry red with cherry aromas and plum flavors, it is smooth and medium-bodied with a satisfying finish.
