This wine is from a Burgundy estate that dates back to 1875, when Antonin Rodet entered the wine business in Mercurey; the estate was bought in the fall of 2009 by Burgundy-based behemoth Boisset. Their sparkling rosé is a traditional blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay, and Aligoté; with subtle aromas of ripe red fruit, it is fresh and lively on the palate.
