Willamette Valley winery Archery Summit was started by Pine Ridge Vineyards founders Gary Andrus and Nancy Andrus Duckhorn in 1993; it is now owned by the Crimson Wine Group, the parent company of Pine Ridge, which also owns (among other enterprises) Seghesio and Chamisal. The Vireton wines, currently a Pinot Noir and this Pinot Gris, and named for a particular style of crossbow arrow, are effectively the winery’s second label. This is a fresh, zesty Pinot Gris, with lively citrus and green apple notes, well balanced, with vibrant acidity.
