The name “Bonterra,” or “good earth,” says it all. Bonterra Vineyards emerged in 1990, produced at the Fetzer winery in California’s Mendocino County; one of the early pioneers in organic viticulture in the state, Bonterra has since grown to be the top-selling brand of wine using 100% organic grapes. Their Sauvignon Blanc features crisp acidity that gives the wine a fresh vibrant feel with flavors of grapefruit, lime zest and grass, closing with flavors of melon and a nice tart finish.
