Buck Summit is a new label of the West Coast Wine Group, a Napa Valley producer that crafts a wide variety of premium wines under different names, including X Winery and Napa Bridge. At present only two reds are offered under this label, an Old Vines Zin sourced from Lodi in the Central Valley and this North Coast Cabernet. This is a robust and lively Cab made from grapes sourced from the six counties of Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, Marin, and Solano. A skillful blend focused on concentration and vibrancy, it is richly textured, with aromas and flavors of black plum, Bing cherry, allspice, and citrus peel.
