Camparo is a five-generation family estate nestled in the rolling hills of Diano d'Alba, just south of the city of Alba. The fourth generation, Mauro Drocco, converted the family's vineyards to organics in the '90s and was certified in 2000. Their Barolo is from a single vineyard in La Morra, where the vines are between 20 and 50 years old. This is a delicate, lithe Barolo with aromas of sour cherries anda palate that features firm tannins, robust flavors, and crunchy acidity.
