Founded in 1720 by Francois Cattin in a small Alsatian village just south of Colmar, Maison Joseph Cattin is now in the 11th generation of family winemaking and ownership, guided today by Jacques Cattin and his wife Anais. His wines are noted for being fresh, fruity, dry, and aromatic, perfect representations of the Alsatian character. His Pinot Blanc quite exemplifies that style, with discreet floral notes on the nose and a palate that is light, supple and layered, with intense and pleasing fruit.
