Dalton is a small family-owned and -run winery in the Upper Galilee region of Israel; established only in 1995, it is now rated one of the top ten wineries in all of Israel. The Alma series was conceived as a series of high-end blended wines, now comprising a white, a rosé, a red, and this “deep red,” a wine formerly known as “Crimson.” It is a classic Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot and Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc, aged 14 months in French oak. The wine shows generous aromas of cherries, plums and sweet dark fruits with a soft, buttery palate offering essences of vanilla and dark chocolate..
