Domaine Cornu-Camus is located in the tiny village of Echevronne, in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. In 1981 Pierre Cornu married Bernadette Camus, like her husband a winemaker, to form the domaine, which today consists of a bit more than thirty acres. Their daughter, Lydia, manages the domaine with her parents, joined in 2009 by her husband Christophe; together the family takes care of all aspects of production in the vineyard and the cellar. This is a silky red Burgundy, dupple and round, with aromas of stone fruit and raspberries with subtle hints of licorice on the palate.
