This winery was established in 1972 by Aldo Vajra, but the Vajra family dates back more than two centuries in the region. Today Aldo is ably assisted by his son Giuseppe; both are devoted to creating wines of elegance and beauty, largely in a traditional style. The Vajras have as much passion and work just as hard for their Dolcetto as they do for their Nebbiolo. It's a vibrant and delicious wine that's full of dark fruit and aromas of herbs, red flowers and spice.
