Chianti Geografico is a small pioneering venture that 17 grapegrowers established in 1961; it has today grown to a 200-member coop dedicated to delivering the continued improvement in quality required by today's market. Their Vin Santo, a blend of Malvasia and Trebbiano, is made in the traditional manner; a beautiful amber color with a prominent nose of apricot jam, it is rich and ripe on the palate with a sweet velvety texture and flavors of dried fruits, apricots, figs, and raisins. The finish has a lick of citrus to keep it fresh.
