The Glazebrook Winery, located in the Hawke’s Bay region of New Zealand’s North Island, was founded by Garry Glazebrook in 1981, making it one of the first estate wineries in the country; it was acquired by Mission State Winery in 2017. Hawke’s Bay is known for producing assertively fresh Sauvignon Blanc, and Glazebrook was a pioneer in establishing the recognizably “New Zealand” style of the varietal. They continue to exemlify that style, as show here: this is a white of consummate clarity, freshness, and snappy acidity.
