Founded by Judy Jordan, daughter of the Jordan Winery founders, in 1986, J Vineyards & Winery is an independently-owned Sonoma County winery. Located just south of Healdsburg, the winery focuses on sparkling wine, as well as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris produced from estate-grown grapes farmed primarily within Sonoma County's Russian River Valley appellation. In 2015 the winery was acquired by E. & J. Gallo Winery. This classic pink sparkler is a 2/3-1/3 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a dash of Pinot Meunier added in; with layered aromas of fresh apples and berries that follow through to the palate, it features lively acidity and steely minerality that frame a lush lingering finish.
