Cantina Lavis is a wine cooperative in the town of Lavis, just north of Trentino, in the Alto Adige. Founded in 1850 by the Cembran family, it has been a coop since 1948 and today comprises more than 800 growers. Their Pinot Nero has intense aromas of cherries and morels, which slowly fade into a distinct undertone of red fruit, while the softest of tannins make this appealingly easy to drink.
