The family-run company of Maison Louis Latour is one of the most highly-respected négociant-éléveurs in Burgundy. Renowned throughout the world for the quality of its red and white wines, the company has built a reputation for tradition and innovation. Each year they make around 150 different wines, with a production of 8.5 million bottles. Here quantity does not obviate quality, however, and this premier cru Puligny-Montrachet is a case in point. This is an opulent, concentrate white Burgundy that perfectly embodies the characteristics of this vineyard, a buttery richness with a spicy exotic fruit quality, crisp balancing acidity, and a lingering finish.
