Domaine Puech Redon, located about twenty miles northwest of Nimes in southern France, is a large property of nearly 1,000 acres (though with only a small portion planted to vines); it is the property of Cyril Cuche, whose grandfather acquired it shortly after the end of the Second World War. Cyril’s father farmed the land conventionally for thirty years, but Cyril, who took over twenty years ago, converted to organic/biodynamic principles. Since 2017 Cuche has been working collaboratively with famed natural winemaker Eric Texier. This Vin de France in a 2-liter bottle is 100% Cinsault, fermented and aged in large concrete tanks; it is fresh and bright, with a firm underlying structure.
