Résonance Wines describes itself as an Oregon wine with a Burgundian accent (note the accent aigu on that first “e”); and that is as it should be, since Résonance is a project of Maison Louis Jadot. Which acquired the property in 2013. The team here is entirely Burgundian, with Thibault Gagey, son of Pierre-Henry Gagey, President of Jadot until his retirement in 2022, serving as Director of Operations and Guillaume Large as winemaker. This Pinot from the estate vineyard is classic Oregon Pinot, deep and focused, with aromas of red flowers and wild berries, well-structured tannins, and impressive minerality.
