The “Everyday People” wines, a line of accessible, low-intervention wines, are the creation of Kirsten Gardner Beal and Lance Lemon, founders of the online retailer RichWest RVA (based in Richmond, Virginia) and of the Richmond Channel Wine Company (they are also known as “the brains behind Les Lunes wines). In all their enterprises, Beal and Lemon focus on clean, crafted wines with no added sugars and no chemical sprays in the vineyard, withes that are, at minimum, low-intervention, bio-dynamic, organic, and/or sustainable in their viticultural practices. Everyday People Red, produced at a Richmond, California winery, is a blend of old-vine Zinfandel, old-vine Carignan, Syrah, and a Cabernet Sauvignon-based Rose; eminently chillable, as the label says, it is lively and fresh, with bright red fruits on the palate and a velvety texture.
