The Seghesios have been an integral part of the California wine scene since the 1880s, but began bottling wine under the family name only in 1983. The Seghesios have long been considered Zinfandel specialists, and this “Angela’s Table” will show you why. Their 2024 Zinfandel, named Wine Spectator’s “Wine Value of the Year,” incorporates, as does every vintage, grapes from multiple diverse lots that span the entire Sonoma County Zinfandel landscape. With lush dark fruit aromas, it is vivacious and briary, offering a rich, rounded palate framed by broad, velvety tannins.
