Located in the Marche, on the Adriatic coast of Italy, the Umani Ronchi estate has, since its beginnings more than half a century ago, distinguished itself as a great producer of two of the most popular wines of the region, Pecorino and Rosso Conero. It is owned by the Bianchi-Bernetti family, who since 1959 have been making superbly crafted wines. Always fresh and very pleasant, this Pecorino (which is actually made in Abruzzo, not in the Marche) is a stainless-steel white with an expressive nose of peach, mango, and rose petals; on the palate it is long and full with great minerality.
