Robert Mondavi created the Woodbridge line of wines as a way of providing quality wines at affordable prices, wines for everyday enjoyment. Having grown up in the area around Lodi, in California’s Central Valley, he knew he could achieve his goals there, and in 1979 he acquired a local cooperative there for his winery. Woodbridge remains part of the Robert Mondavi wine empire, now owned by Constellation Brands. This Woodbridge Pinot Noir has bright aromas of cherries and strawberries and is round on the palate, with fruit-forward flavors and a touch of oak.
