Back in 1934, 126 Bordeaux winegrowers joined forces to create the Cave Intercommunale de Sauveterre-de-Guyenne. Over the years they regrouped, adding new members, and some 300 families are now organized under the “Bordeaux Families” banner. Chateau Jaumard is part of this group. Theirs is a well-structured Bordeaux, a 70/30 blend of Cabernet and Merlot, with berry fruit and a touch of graphite on the nose; on the palate it is medium-bodied, soft and smooth, with fresh fruit and a touch of spice, fine tannins, and an herbaceous note on the finish. Kosher for Passover.
