Contour started out making California Pinot Noir, and nothing else, but have since added Cabernet to their portfolio. They source their grapes from cool climate coastal vineyards. Light- to medium-bodied, this Pinot reflects those cooling influences from the Pacific Ocean. It shows a refreshing acidity on the palate, which is quickly followed by notes of red cherries and cranberries and a finish of grippy tannins.
