The Herisson rosé is produced by Domaine Rochebin, a 125-acre sustainably-farmed winery in the heart of the Maconnais in Burgundy, where owner-winemaker Mickaël Marillier is the third generation of his family to be in charge. To produce this rosé, however, he looked to the south, sourcing Grenache grapes from sustainably farmed vineyards around the village of La Sylve in the Herault department of the Languedoc. Dry, fresh and light, the wine has aromas and flavors of ripe raspberries and watermelon. And with its sustainable packaging, this three-liter (four-bottle) bag-in-the-box wine is good for the environment as well.
