Located in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley, J. de Villebois is a family winery owned by Joost and Miguela de Willebois. Its story dates from 2004, when Joost came upon a small, well-run local winery whose owner lacked a successor; Joost bought the winery, growing it over the years into a major producer of distinctive wines made from Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. This is a modern, stylish, and affordable Pinot, very accessible, with crunchy fruit overlaying an incredibly silky palate.
