Dom Perignon is the prestige brand of Champagne produced by Moet & Chandon; originally created by Champagne Mercer, the brand was given to Moet in 1927 for a wedding between the two families. The Dom is always a vintage bottling and so is not produced in poor vintages and is made entirely from grapes harvested in that same year. This vintage, the 2015, from a year of exceptional contrasts, is a wine of great generosity and balance; fresh and focused, layered and structured, it has aromas of white pepper, herbs and spices, and rich orchard fruits and is done in a deep, fruit-saturated style.
