After a successful, but personally not very rewarding, career in international tax planing, Michele Minelli moved his family to Tuscany to enjoy a life lived close to the land. In 1997 he took over a traditional multi-crop farm, fairly quickly transforming it into a markedly prestigious winemaking operation, one seriously committed to quality and sustainability. The estate now comprises a bit more than 150 acres, all farmed organically and with an enthusiastic nod to biodynamic practices. Their Vino Nobile, 100% Sangiovese, is full-bodied and loaded with character, richly textured yet fresh, with highly polished tannins.
