The di Lenardo estate, located in Ortagnano, in the heart of Italy’s Friuli region, dates back to the early 1800s; it remains a family enterprise, today run by Massimo di Lenardo. The estate comprises five large vineyards, some 140 acres in total, for the production of 17 different wines, seven whites, six reds, two sparklers and a rose. This is their basic Chardonnay, made with the rare Musque clone; it offers zesty flavors, crisp acidity, and a lovely green-apple bite that lingers over a long finish.
